NEW PAINTING OF MORNING SUNLIGHT THROUGH AUTUMN LEAVES

I see this line of trees when I take my morning walks.  On sunny mornings the light shines through the leaves and remind me of stained glass windows.   So,  I had to paint a picture of it.

Mixed media:  Watercolor,  pastel and colored pencil...............

WHERE DID THE YEAR GO   ? ? ?

My last post was at the beginning of gardening season,  now it is almost over for another season.   The planting and weeding have kept me so busy I forgot to write a post all summer and now it is time to put all that away.   The final fall cleanup is here.  The colors are a little browner this year,  we had a long dry spell late in the summer,  but they are still glorious.

The trees are just glowing.  I spotted these on my walk the other morning.

And my tall red dahlias look like a giant rosebush in full bloom.
